The Finance Analyst for PGS Andover Site Finance will be a member of the finance team, with primary responsibility for performing the site financial close, including Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and balance sheet ownership for required accounts. The Finance Analyst will also develop and maintain monthly actual results reporting for distribution to PGS site teams and participate in ad-hoc projects. This role is a great starting point to understand Pfizer's Global Manufacturing organization and make the linkage between manufacturing and Commercial organizations.

  • Prepare business results, financial projections and analyses to support the PGS Andover site financial and operational objectives.
  • Assists with the creation of budgets, forecasts and reporting to customers that is always timely, reliable, focused and relevant for decision making.
  • Monitor, track and proactively report business performance.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of the month-end close, monthly reports, accruals, balance sheet reviews and forecasts.
  • Prepare operating plan for site annual budget..
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity for improvement in process, and implementing the methodologies that drive positive change.
  • Ensure an effective internal control environment, compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and corporate policies, and provide support for regular internal and external audits.

  • BA/BS in finance or accounting required
  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting rules and processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with all levels of management
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • A solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel, is required

  • Experience in SAP and Hyperion Planning (Mosaic) preferred
